What BaZi is

BaZi (八字, "eight characters") is the Chinese system also known as the Four Pillars of Destiny. Your year, month, day and hour of birth each become a pillar made of one heavenly stem and one earthly branch. Together those eight characters show how the five elements are balanced in your chart.

At the centre is your Day Master, the element that represents you. Everything else is read in relation to it: what supports you, what challenges you, and where you find wealth, recognition and relationships.

BaZi is also a system of timing. Your chart moves through ten-year luck pillars (大運) and yearly influences (流年), which makes it especially useful for questions such as when to change jobs, expand a business, marry or relocate.

Why it is combined with Zi Wei Dou Shu

BaZi is precise about timing. Zi Wei Dou Shu gives rich detail about personality, relationships and the people around you. Tiffany always analyses the two together and never offers them separately. When both systems point to the same conclusion, you can act on it with more confidence. When they differ, the difference is worth discussing.

What your first consultation covers

1. Your main charts. BaZi and Zi Wei Dou Shu together: life patterns, strengths and tendencies.
2. The past ten years. A check that your chart matches how your life has actually unfolded.
3. Your current ten-year luck cycle. The phase you are in now and what it opens up.
4. Your next ten-year luck cycle. Timing for career, wealth and relationships.
5. The next five years. Year by year, for planning with more clarity.

Everything discussed is then written up in your written report.

Who a consultation suits

Business owners and professionals at a crossroads, such as a career change, expansion, partnership or relocation. Individuals, couples and families who want clarity on direction, relationships or a major decision.

A consultation is not the right fit if you want lottery numbers, guaranteed outcomes, or someone to make every decision for you. A chart describes tendencies and timing, and the choices remain yours. Chinese metaphysics does not replace medical, legal or financial advice.

If you do not know your exact birth time, tell Tiffany when you book. Each consultation begins with chart verification, which uses events in your life to confirm the most likely time.

Follow-up session

After your first consultation, a follow-up session keeps you current. In 1.5 hours Tiffany forecasts the next 12 to 15 months across career, relationships, health, wealth, children and property, then focuses on the two or three areas that matter most to you. You receive a 20 page written report. The fee is SGD 388 (USD 305).

Da Liu Ren for one specific question

BaZi and Zi Wei Dou Shu describe your life as a whole. When you have one sharp question, such as whether a deal will close or how a dispute is likely to resolve, Tiffany can cast a Da Liu Ren (六壬) chart on the question itself. Ask about this when you book.

Where sessions take place

In person in Clementi, Singapore, online by video call from anywhere, or at your home. House visits anywhere in Singapore carry a transport fee of SGD 100. Sessions are available in English, Mandarin and Cantonese.
